Two teenagers, Dusty and Sarah, sit on a stoop watching the people walk by them. They come up with a creative narrative for each of these individuals passing by: from a biker without his bike to a inconspicuous hit woman on her way to finish the contract to a married couple that struggles with their inability to conceive. Dusty and Sarah bond over their friendly competition and in the end they come to admire each other as seen through the eyes of another couple who are just happening to be 'people watching' themselves.
