Break Out is an experiment in context. Through the use of the same script a story is told twice through the life and motives of two different people, both seeking a fundamental change in their apparent natures. Both characters take steps to separate themselves from unhealthy tendencies which result in two films, back to back, from different genera and shot on a different medium, using the same words in similar situations, but telling different stories based on context.
