Rita, comes to Los Angeles from Germany to visit her daughter Paula a struggling filmmaker about to turn 30. Paula's excitement to spend some quality time with her mother soon fades, when Rita is more interested in exploring the Hollywood lifestyle. Rita follows her own adventurous instincts to explore the city and ends up surprising Paula with a much needed opportunity. Paula realizes that her mother's individual ways are not that bad after all.
