Story is set in twenty-first century of India but in a version of parallel universe. In the past of country, French East India Company succeeded to colonized India instead of British East India Company. Because of that minor change in history, now French has become the common language to connect whole country instead of English. But nothing else is changed. 'Amour V' is about two couples. One couple survives in society by doing jobs in multinational company. Other couple survives by not doing job for the company. Both girls have smoking addiction. Because of that their Relationship with boyfriends is in trouble, but story progresses. They propose to their girlfriends for marriage. Girls accept on one condition that they will not quit smoking.
