Consistent failure on stage, combined with mounting debts, means Andrew has to find employment, and potentially give up on his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. After his latest bout of stage fright, Andrew accepts a job offer. The position is a night job, working in a mortuary. It is during a shift at the mortuary that he begins to practice his comedy routines in front of his least distracted audience yet - the deceased.
