Comedy House is the story of Vanessa Lua, actress and engineer from Mexico who emigrated to America for an engineering job and personal reasons and found a second home and learned Improv Comedy at the Dallas Comedy House in Dallas, TX. The documentary centers around Vanessa's struggle to interface with the local culture and perform improv at the level she feels capable of and, the intricacies of humor, and how they relate to language.
