Mr Nickos is the last traditional shoemaker in Crete, Greece. In his lifetime he has made thousands of boots and he can tell many stories about those who wore them. Mr Nickos can't travel or dance anymore, but only through the boots he is making. He talks about what they mean. They talk to the soul of those who wear them. They talk about dignity, pride, labor.
