In the imminent future, a callous pawnbroker runs a shop that deals in trafficking human memories. After a run in with a desperate young woman, he sets out to rescue her from her miserable existence, using the memory she'd sold him to track her down. On the way, he'll be forced to reexamine his own troubled past and begin to question whether it's our memories that make us, or we that make them.
