A stranger is washed up on a beach, naked and vulnerable. Where has he come from? How did he get there? To survive he must rely on the kindness of others, firstly a little boy, who knows what it is to feel vulnerable, and then an older woman, who understands what it is to feel lost and alone. As the stranger familiarises himself with this strange place, he discovers there is much to fear, but thanks to the little boy and the woman, much to embrace.
