After a car accident, a middle-aged man is living again a trauma he had during his childhood when he was stuck alone on a tree branch for a whole day. This memory helps him to overcome his fear and go on with his life. While he has been traveling on the very same road for a thousand times, he finds himself in a new metaphysical space, beyond the side of the road.
