'The Ballad of Tom Kelly' tells the story of Tom, a war veteran who is squatting on land because he has no where else to go. A judge has ordered Tom to take some medicine for an illness that Tom denies having, leading to a conflict with a group sent to enforce that order. Tom just wants to be left alone, and is tired of feeling persecuted by these landowners, as he just wants to try and get on with life after experiencing the horrors of war.
