A young man, Joseph 'Joe' Reynolds, returns home to bury his adoptive father. When attending the reading of the wills, it is discovered that he has been left a large amount of money from his father. With the help of his family and friends of his father, Joe realizes why his was given the money, characteristics about his father and ultimately the uniqueness of himself.
